What does love really look like?
River hears the words “I love you” every day—from family, from friends, from the world around her. But deep in her heart, she wonders what those words truly mean.
On a journey through everyday moments at school, at home, and on the playground, River begins to discover that love is more than something we say—it's something we choose.
With the gentle guidance of a kind and peaceful presence, she learns that love is patient, kind, forgiving, and strong—even when it's hard.
This beautifully written, faith-centered story helps children understand what real love looks like in their own lives, showing them how to live it out in simple, meaningful ways every day.
A warm and timeless reminder that love isn't just something we feel—it's something we live.

Meet Briana Davis
Briana Davis is a writer, creative, and mother who is deeply passionate about helping children understand the love of Jesus in a real and tangible way.
This story was born from a quiet moment of prayer, as she reflected on what it truly means to love as He loves, not just in words, but in everyday moments.
Inspired by her daughter, River, Briana writes with the hope that children will come to see that they too have a place at God's table, and that His love is something they can both receive and live out.
With a background in worship ministry and a heart for storytelling, she hopes her words remind both children and parents that God's love is not distant, it is present, personal, and something we are invited to live out each day.
